New Carbotech XP 10 pads compared to my old set. The old set has two track days on them.
Rotor Surface before my track day, facotry pads had been installed.
Rear Carbotech XP 10 pads after two track days, looking quite good.
New Carbotech XP 10 pads installed … too bad they don't stay red for very long, because they look sharp.
Rotor surface after 150 miles of hard use on the track. Front rotors had very even contact, and no appreciable wear.
Close up of the front rotor surface, looks like good transfer, and I saw very little rotor wear
Carbotech XP 10 front pads after my track day.
I got in a LOT of track time :)
Piston seals got so hot they melted. Time to start thinking about ducting.
Rear Carbotech XP 10 pads, saw some strange/different wear on the one on top.
As you can see on the rear rotor, this one pad looks like it didnt transfer quite right … my explain some squirly braking that I experienced.
